A native of North Dakota, Larry moved to Vail in 1974 and earned his real estate license in 1976. He is a Past-President of the Vail Board of Realtors and is a recipient of the Vail Board of Realtors Realtor of the Year Designation awarded to those who have served the real estate community as well as the Vail Valley community at-large.

Pete's love for skiing began in childhood on the slopes of Maine and led him to move to Vail, where he spent eight years with the Vail Ski Patrol. He also worked in the French Alps as a "Pisteur," an experience that broadened his perspective and deepened his connection with people from all walks of life. Pete has also served on the board of directors for the Eagle River Coalition, helping to protect the area's rivers and natural resources for the community and local wildlife.
