It has been a priority of his to enjoy the benefits of mountain life: skiing, rafting, mountain biking, and hiking keep him busy all year long. An avid skier, whose passion for the sport began as a small child on the slopes of Sunday River, Maine, Pete served eight years on the Vail Ski Patrol. Those years spent serving Vail's guests were invaluable, as he developed medical, decision making, backcountry and avalanche skills. His work as a ski patroller led him to France where he worked as a "Pisteur" in the French Alps. "Meeting people from all over the world, in Vail and in France, has been a rewarding experience. It has helped me gain a perspective and understanding of people with different backgrounds and personalities." Pete also serves as President of the Eagle River Watershed Council, an organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the high quality natural, scenic and economic values that the local rivers and tributaries provide our citizens, visitors and wildlife population. Recent projects include a $4 million restoration of the Eagle River in Edwards. Pete understands the challenges of today's market and takes his clients through the real estate process from start to finish with confidence and finesse.
